Forest Caretakers

If you were ever looking for a way to restore your faith in humanity, look no further than the group of young girls that came to our forest on December 17th to pick up trash. The Roots of Wonder group is led by our neighbor Shela Crump. We were joined again by Emily Oakley, who demonstrated her dendrochronology skills for the girls on a few more of our ancient trees. We’re growing our partnerships with the ecology community here in Tulsa. If you want to be a part of our efforts to restore our beautiful forest, please let us know.
